Civil service workers in the Prospect and PCS unions at the British Museum in London came out on strike on Friday afternoon last week over a below-inflation pay offer.
Their walk-out severely affected the running of the museum. Members of both unions joined a lively picket outside the museum.
Prospect members at the National Gallery also struck on Friday of last week. Workers are now carrying out a work to rule at both institutions.
