Strike against Kellogg’s cereal job losses

Workers at a breakfast cereals factory are to ballot on strike action over redundancies.

Kellogg’s plans to cut 40 jobs from its 521-strong workforce in Wrexham, north Wales.

The Usdaw union says it has not been properly consulted over the job losses. The factory produces All Bran, Bran Flakes and Special K, and is one of the biggest employers in the town.
