Keep up fight against BNP

The campaign against the fascist British National Party’s (BNP) election candidates is gathering momentum across Britain.

Unite Against Fascism (UAF) is organising activity in every major town and city where the BNP is fielding candidates.

In Stoke, UAF activists have already organised two days of action against the BNP.

Barking, where BNP leader Nick Griffin is standing, is the major focus for anti-fascist activists across the country.

There have been a number of successful days of action so far. The next day of action is on Saturday 13 March. “We have to make sure that the fascist minority remain a minority,” Weyman Bennett, chair of UAF, told Socialist Worker.

“Everyone who is opposed to racism and fascism needs to come out and help us smash Nick Griffin’s chances—his politics have no place in our society.”
