Teachers at Crest Boys Academy in Neasden, north west London, struck for one day on Wednesday of last week against seven redundancies.
The strike involved teachers in all three teaching unions at the school – the NUT, ATL and NASUWT.
E-Act (previously Edutrust) took over the school last September from the local authority, promising no redundancies.
It has now gone back on that commitment.
Meanwhile head of E-Act Sir Bruce Liddington, along with other senior executives, have been spending the charity’s cash on luxury hotel rooms, huge salaries and bonuses.
Liddington’s salary and bonuses add up to over £260,000 a year and E-Act is partly funded by money from the school’s budget.
He claimed £1,436 for two nights in luxury hotel suites.
