Workers were set to protest outside an Aberdeen council meeting this week over delays to pay rises owed to over 6,500 workers.
The automatic pay rises were written into the contracts of the mostly female workers last year, but held back in April for a “review”.
The council meeting will decide whether to go ahead with the delay. If it does, the Unison and Unite unions could start legal and industrial action.
