Former Ford workers are set to sue Visteon for “robbing” their pensions.
Around 4,000 workers lost money from their pensions when Visteon, a spin-off from Ford, collapsed last year.
Some have seen 50 percent wiped from the value of their pensions.
Workers transferred from Ford to Visteon in 2000 and were promised Ford terms and conditions for life—including their pension.
Workers occupied their factories last year when the company sacked them with no notice. They forced Ford to pay redundancy money.
