The Unite union has won recognition at outsourcing company Capita’s site in Craigforth, Stirling.
Some 97 percent of the 750 workers voted in favour of union recognition in a ballot, with a 60 percent turnout.
It is the culmination of years of campaigning by the workforce, who service Prudential customers.
Daryl Williams, Unite sector officer for Capita, said, “While Capita has in the past resisted the involvement of Unite at this site, the staff have made their wishes very clear through this ballot.”
