Management at Glasgow Life were hit hard by two days of selective action and a one-day strike at the Glasgow Fair last week. The 12-week life of the ballot with the company—previously known as Culture and Sport—has now expired.
At a mass meeting last week, workers agreed that their union officials should approach the Acas conciliation service, but also hold a second ballot for more action.
The workers' unions—Bectu, GMB, Unison and Unite—have established a joint fighting fund and will levy members and approach branches for donations.
