Workers at the BBC are voting on a new offer proposed by management.
The ballot closes on 28 October. The offer includes a huge attack on pensions, particularly for new starters.
The dispute involves all NUJ, Bectu and Unite members at the corporation. More than 90 percent of workers across the unions voted for strikes last month.
Activists inside the NUJ, including those in the NUJ Left group, are calling for a no vote.
Many believe that more can be won—but only if they strike.
A work to rule involving all three unions will take place on Friday 22 October.
