A work to rule by hundreds of Birmingham refuse workers has been postponed for two weeks for talks between the unions and the council.
The 850 workers were due to start the action against massive pay cuts on Friday of last week. Members of the GMB, Unite and Ucatt unions overwhelmingly backed this.
Birmingham council wants to get rid of 7,000 jobs over the next four years. A council‑wide fightback against this is urgently needed.
