Firefighter sacked for speaking out against cuts
An Essex firefighter has been sacked on the spot—just for writing a letter to a local councillor about cuts to the fire service.
The FBU union put out a statement calling the summary dismissal the “last straw”.
It was set to hold a special brigade committee this week to discuss its response.
