Protest over jailed Zimbabwean activists

The campaign to release six Zimbabwean activists charged with treason has called an international day of action on Monday of next week.

The six were arrested for watching a video on the Egyptian uprising and face the death penalty if convicted.

In London protesters will gather outside the Zimbabwean Embassy, 29 Strand, London WC2R 0JR from 12 noon to 1.30pm.

Some 40 people joined a protest outside the embassy on Friday of last week, demanding that the six be released and all charges dropped.
