Amey concedes to strike threat
A planned strike by TSSA rail union members at the Amey firm last weekend was called off after the company agreed the principle of widening out collective bargaining.
Management had offered a pay deal well below the rate of inflation. TSSA had seen its membership rise as it campaigned over the issue.
