The CWU union is calling more strikes at the Romec engineering and facilities company. Over 550 engineers are planning a nationwide 48‑hour walkout from midnight on Thursday 20 July.
In addition, the ongoing ban on attending out-of-hours incidents is being extended until 22 August.
CWU national official Ray Ellis said, “We will not allow the situation in Romec to drift further.
“Our members are suffering daily attacks in the form of withholding pay, changing their hours, suspending annualĀ leave, unacceptable useĀ of surveillance equipment and threats.”
