Some 3,000 BBC workers in the NUJ union are due to walk out again on Monday of next week in their second strike against job losses.
The BBC is threatening over 100 job losses. Journalists fear this is only the beginning of the attacks and that there will be more to come.
The last strike, on 22 July, saw workers picket offices, production centres and radio buildings across Britain.
The action was very effective—taking many news programmes off the air and foiling attempts to get flagship programme Newsnight to go ahead.
