Hundreds of engineers who work for Romec and maintain Royal Mail buildings are set to ballot on a deal to end their long-running dispute.
The engineers have repeatedly struck against their bosses’ use of tracking devices.
Their union, the CWU, says that information from GPS devices will now be limited, while disciplinary cases sparked by the dispute will be reviewed.
The deal will reduce the maximum travel time to and from work to 30 minutes each way. There will also be £1,000 bonus payments to those affected by the dispute.
