Napo congress

The National Association of Probation Officers held its national congress in Eastbourne last weekend. Over 400 delegates voted unanimously to join the public sector pensions strikes on 30 November.

An overwhelming majority of the conference also expressed the need for further resistance to cuts.

The conference was the most radical in its content for many years in the union’s 99-year history.
