Around 500 London Overground (LO) workers will be paid normal time plus 25 percent for shifts worked during the Olympic and Paralympic games next year.
The deal follows talks between the RMT union and the private company that runs LO. In return for “some flexibility of work patterns”, members will get a minimum additional payment of £650.
The RMT reached a similar deal with Network Rail earlier this year. Talks with London Underground are ongoing.
