Nearly 100 people attended a mass leafleting and rally in the centre of Glasgow on Saturday called by UAF Scotland.

In recent weeks both a Palestinian stall and a Communist Party stall have been attacked by Nazi thugs.

The rally was supported by trade unions, with Unison, PCS and EIS banners and speakers. Sandra White MSP also spoke.

The racist Scottish Defence League has applied for permission to march through Glasgow on 25 February, ending at the cenotaph in George Square.

Anti-fascists agreed that they would mobilise to celebrate Glasgow’s multicultural society in the square that day.
