Porters, cleaners and caterers in the GMB union started three days of strikes at Swindon’s Great Western hospital this Monday.
The workers are employed by the Carillion agency. They struck for three days last week too, and came to protest at the firm’s London HQ.
The staff are mostly from Goa in India. Strikers say a culture of racism, bullying and corruption has set in at the hospital.
