Cleaning and catering workers employed by the Carillion agency at Swindon’s Great Western hospital have voted to continue their strikes against racism, corruption and bullying.
The workers, members of the GMB union, are set to strike for five days starting from Thursday of this week. This will be followed by seven days of strikes starting from Saturday of next week.
The dispute involves some 150 workers mostly from Goa in India. Carillion says it is investigating the grievances.
