RMT signals a fightback in Stirling

Signal workers in the Stirling area are balloting for strikes in their dispute with Network Rail management over rosters.

The workers want to move to 12 hour rosters. A recent referendum conducted by the RMT union saw 15 to 1 support for this move among the signal workers.

Ballot papers were sent out on Wednesday of last week. The ballot will close on 18 April. The RMT union is urging a vote in favour of industrial action.
