Hundreds of workers at Cheshire West & Chester council were set to protest outside a council meeting on Thursday of this week to defend their conditions.
The Tory council has forced through new contracts that include flat rates of pay for working on holidays and at weekends.
Unison, Unite and GMB union members struck over Easter in protest.
They are continuing action short of a strike. The unions could strike over the May bank holiday.
Unison’s north west region backed the lobby, which will call on the council to reopen negotiations.
