Hundreds of workers’ jobs are under threat at the budget airline BMI Baby.
The firm is set to close at the end of the year, but the workers haven’t been told their fate.
The GMB union, which represents the workers, said the news of the closure was “devastating”. The company has been taken over by the International Airlines Group (IAG).
The IAG bosses have repeatedly said that BMI Baby and its workers are not part of their long term plans.
