Workers in the NUJ, Bectu and Unite unions are all balloting for strikes at the BBC.
The ballots are over pay, a new appraisal system and compulsory redundancies caused by management’s failure to keep to an agreement on redeployment.
All three unions are calling for a yes vote. The ballot closes on 21 May. Strikes could disrupt coverage of the queen’s jubilee.
BBC management has been attacking jobs and pensions at the company over recent years. Unions struck together at the BBC in 2010.
