Wardens to ballot over working week
Traffic wardens in York could strike over plans to change their working week.
City of York Council wants to make its 18 wardens work five-day weeks rather than their current four-day ones.
The workers’ Unison union says this will increase stress and travel costs.
A strike ballot was set to start this week.
