Strike ballot for Salford lecturers
Lecturers at the University of Salford are balloting for strikes to stop redundancies.
Some 180 workers are in “redundancy pools” and a third will lose their jobs if management cuts go ahead.
The result of the ballot will be announced at UCU union’s congress next week.
