Dismissed Ucatt union officer Dave Short vindicated
An industrial tribunal has ordered the Ucatt builders’ union to pay £390,000 to its former regional organiser Dave Short.
Dave claimed constructive dismissal and disability discrimination after suffering a breakdown when he was accused of misconduct by Ucatt leaders.
They falsely claimed to have received complaints against him.
