Camden traffic wardens were set to strike on Wednesday and Thursday of this week over pay.
Camden workers currently earn £8.09 an hour. They are demanding that private parking contractor NSL pays them the same as Waltham Forest wardens, who get more than £10 an hour.
Unison branch organiser John Mann said, “This strike is about demanding a private company that makes millions in profit from the public purse pays a living wage.
“Having traffic wardens earning below the London living wage is a disgrace”.
