Dozens of striking cleaners working for multinational ISS on the East Coast line were on the picket line this morning at London’s King’s Cross station.
The strikers carried a huge banner with the slogan “Wages not Peanuts”. Blowing horns and chanting “ISS out”, the roar from the protest could be heard across the station.
The cleaners’ RMT union is supporting the 24 hour strike to improve pay and conditions. They work on the East Coast mainline and London Midland train services.
