Farm Workers in the Unite union protested on Saturday of last week against the government’s plan to scrap the agricultural wages board.
First they targeted Lib Dem food minister David Heath at his constituency in Frome, Somerset. They went on to the Savoy Hotel in London, where Fresh Produce Consortium bosses were holding their annual dinner.
Last week the Welsh Assembly voted against scrapping the board.
